A Tribute To The Pirate Stations (1964-1974) `Golden Years of Pop Music` Op 21 april is het 50 jaar geleden dat Radio Veronica begon met uitzenden vanaf een schip net buiten de territorale wateren. Het luidde het tijdperk in van het fenomeen ÕÔ_ÕÔ_ÕÔՐpiraten stationÕÔ_ÕÔ_ՂÕ_. Radio Caroline, Radio London, Radio Northsea International en vele anderen volgden dit initiatief van Veronica. Op deze 7-CD+DVD box worden alle grote radiohits uit de belangrijkste jaren van de popgeschiedenis (1964-1974) op een rijtje gezet door Adje Bouman. Ad was indertijd technicus bij Radio Veronica en werd niet voor niets ÕÔ_ÕÔ_ÕÔՐde meesterÕÔ_ÕÔ_ՂÕ_ genoemd. Elke CD heeft zijn eigen thema; de Adje Bouman Top Tien, de Lex Harding Show, de Rob Out Show enz. Niet alleen de grote hits komen voorbij, ook de typische ÕÔ_ÕÔ_ÕÔՐradioplaatjesÕÔ_ÕÔ_ՂÕ_ ontbreken niet, dit alles wordt afgewisseld door jingles en zo lijken deze shows opnieuw tot leven te zijn gebracht.
